As an official UN-Habitat partner, BLUETTI proudly attended the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Azerbaijan. Keynote Insights: Why Energy Equity is Housing Equity

Eric Fang, General Manager of Paygo and Energy Storage, represented BLUETTI at the High-Level Business Assembly. During his keynote address, he articulated our core belief: "Housing Equity" remains inseparable from "Energy Equity".

True community resilience demands dependable electricity. Fang stated, "Access to clean, reliable power is not a luxury; it is a cornerstone of human dignity, opportunity, and community resilience". Every energy storage system we deploy acts as a foundational asset to help vulnerable families build a more secure future.

Integrating Energy and Digital Infrastructure in Africa

Developing regions often face steep financial barriers to reliable electricity. To bridge this gap, BLUETTI introduced PAYGO (Pay-As-You-Go) enabled systems, custom-designed specifically for African markets. This solution combines high-efficiency hardware with flexible, affordable financing options.

By enabling families to access clean electricity through manageable payments, we actively solve energy poverty. This approach goes beyond basic power provision. It directly fosters local entrepreneurship and builds long-term economic self-sufficiency.

The LAAF Initiative: Providing More Than Light, Providing Hope

Our commitment to global sustainability and ESG leadership materializes through the "Lighting An African Family" (LAAF) initiative. To date, BLUETTI has donated solar power kits to over 20,000 families. We have also equipped 30 schools and communities with renewable power.

These efforts have directly improved the daily lives of more than 60,000 people. As Fang noted, "We provide more than light; we provide hope".
