The recent power outages in Alabama:

On July 3rd, 2023, Alabama Power and other electric cooperatives are working hard to restore power after outages throughout Central Alabama. At 7am, Alabama Power reports 1,100 residents in Montgomery County left without electricity. However, they have been able to restore power to over 11,000 people in the area. Dixie Electric Cooperative also had scattered outages, which can be tracked via their outage map. Central Alabama Electric Cooperative reported hundreds of outages, which can also be tracked on their outage map. The electric companies are working diligently to get everyone back online as soon as possible.
