The BLUETTI EP800 seamlessly integrates with your current solar system or can easily be paired with your new solar panels. By utilizing AC coupling, the EP800 can operate with your existing solar systems, eliminating the need for additional labor costs associated with rooftop solar panel wiring. For optimal efficiency, solar panels can also be directly connected to the EP800 via DC coupling.

FAQS
-
Q1: What’s the difference between EP800 and EP900?
A: EP800 is an off-grid energy storage system with a max output of 7600W, while EP900 is an on-grid/off-grid energy storage system with a max output of 9000W. Both of these system provide robust 120V and 240V split-phase backup power but EP800 solely focus on off-grid usage thus provide a more convenient and cost-efficient solution for off-grid installation. -
Q2: Can I get the EP800 charged with home grid?
A: Yes, the EP800 can only be installed off-grid. However, it doesn’t mean you have to rely solely on solar. You can charge it from the grid, solar panels, or combine them simultaneously. -
Q3: What does the 10-year warranty cover?
A: BLUETTI guarantees that with proper use as outlined in the user manual, each battery pack will achieve a minimum aggregate energy throughput of 15.48MWh during the warranty period. -
Q4: Does the 10-year warranty policy apply to the fans and WiFi modules?
A: No. The warranty for the fans and WiFi modules is 24 months. -
Q5: What is the noise level of the EP800?
A: Less than 50dB. -
Q6: Can the EP800 prioritize solar power usage?
A: Yes, the EP800 has an intelligent energy management system that allows you to customize charging and discharging times, as well as the SoC limits via the BLUETTI App, to maximize the use of solar energy and minimize your electricity bills. -
Q7: Can the EP800 be used with battery packs other than the B500, such as the B300, B300S, or B230?
A: No, the EP800 only works with B500 battery packs. -
Q8: What is the UPS switching time?
A: In 20ms. -
Q9: What is the weight capacity of each B500?
A: Over 441 lbs/200kg, meaning that an EP800 + 4*B500 combo can be stacked vertically, saving you plenty of space. -
Q10: Can I install the EP800 unit by myself?
A: No, the system must be installed by a licensed electrician. We have a network of authorized installers available to offer professional local installation services for your convenience. -
Q11: Are the EP800 and B500 water-resistant?
A: Yes, they are rated NEMA 4X that provides protection against water and dust. -
Q12: Is the EP800 risky or prone to catching fire?
A: The EP800 is designed with a strong focus on safety and reliability. However, it's crucial to follow specific precautions to guarantee its long-term performance and safety. Please keep the device away from heat sources like heaters or open flames, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, and prevent severe impacts or contact with chemicals. Please note that any accidents resulting from these situations are not covered by the warranty. -
Q13: Does BLUETTI offer product liability insurance for its products?
A: Yes, we have purchased third-party product liability insurance worldwide. -
Q14: Does EP800 support DC coupling or AC coupling?
A: Yes. However, it's recommended to prioritize DC coupling since it’s more efficient and can be used during outages. The EP800 has two MPPT controllers that can handle up to 9,000W (6,000W + 3,000W) solar input via DC coupling and supports a voltage range of 150V-500V and a maximum working current of 12.5A/25A. -
Q15: Can I use installed solar panels and inverter together with the EP800?
A: Yes. EP800 works with existing solar panels via DC coupling and existing solar systems(with inverter) via AC coupling. If your current inverter is aging and can't be repaired, EP800 can replace your malfunctioning inverter via DC coupling. -
Q16: Is it necessary to ground the EP800 unit?
A: Yes, grounding the EP800 unit is necessary for safety reasons and proper functionality. -
Q17: Can I charge EP800 with a gas generator?
A: Yes, you can.

Q1: How does the Bluetti subscription work?
The Bluetti subscription allows you to pay a monthly fee for your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. You can cancel whenever you like and return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station with no hidden fees. We send you a shipping label (return costs on us), and you return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station in the original packaging. -
Q2: What’s included with the Bluetti subscription?
The Bluetti subscription includes a brand new or like-new AC180 Solar Portable Power Station (normally a $999 product to purchase) and a warranty for as long as you keep your Bluetti subscription for any issues that may arise, with the exception of user error or gross negligence. -
Q3: Is this the same as financing or a rent-to-own program?
This is not a rent-to-own program. When you cancel your Bluetti subscription, you are required to return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. The goal of the program is to provide ongoing value through a variety of benefits as well as new future products, not to create more options to buy a AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. -

Yes, you can cancel your Bluetti subscription at any time. No contract, hidden fees, or gotchas. We cover the return shipping label as well. -
Q5: What if I want to upgrade my BLUETTI AC180?
This is not a rent-to-own program, as our Bluetti subscription includes flexibility, service components, future upgrade opportunities, and a lifetime warranty. However, you may still contact us if you are interested in purchasing your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station, as we are often able to create an option where a portion of your monthly payments to-date can be applied as a discount against the listing price. -
Q6: What if the BLUETTIE AC180 is damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to evaluate the cause, and with the exception of intentional, excessive, or grossly negligent damage, we will ship you a new product or component and cover shipping fees in both directions. Depending on the degree of user fault, you may be charged for replacement components, parts, or shipping fees. If you’d like further assistance, feel free to contact us at support@fragile.co. -
